Welcome to part 1 of the series ‘How to face your fears to exercise in public’, I hope by reading and applying what I say your fear of going out alone, and exercising in public will become low that it will not bother you again, so let’s start:
This is a fundamental aspects of everything in life, social anxiety and running anxiety may be the same reason that you are not able to exercise in public, it’s good to address the issue and find solutions to it instead of seeing people socializing and doing public activity without being anxious, so basically there are 2 categories that I wanted to talk about, the first one will be in our topic today and how to find solutions to it so you can finally leave house and exercise in public without worrying about what others think of you, we will try to help you but as a Fat loss Master you should also find your way into success, I can help and motivate you but if you are unwilling to take actions and following my steps then it’s going to be much harder to make small results, let alone transformation that you have been dreaming about for a lot of time, remember that we are teaching a core mindset to acquire that will help your fitness results and even other life goals, I want my students to be proud of themselves, it doesn’t matter how much it takes to become a Fat Loss Master, the essential part is to accept that you will make changes.
The second part of topic is about people you see every day that do exercise in a gym, swimming in public pools, doing athleticism, horse riding competition and many other things, any exercise that require you to do it in front of everyone, how did these people mastered the art of socializing and exercising in front of everyone without being anxious?
It’s good to fix the root cause of the problem, so let’s start to understand what’s happening and why you still struggle:
Feel of inferiority is what makes you stay in your home and go to the gym in low traffic area
It’s not about making you angry or sad, but I had this type of problem from my childhood until I reached the age of 20’s, while still have it to little degree nowadays, it doesn’t bother me anymore, not in the same way in the past, the past was like hell for me, my fucking transformation surprised everyone that knew me, how can a fat loser kid become very good looking in just 6 months and impress all the ladies? Well I wished too that it would happen to me one day when I open my eyes but as you know dream without taking actions is just a wish, I was so insecure that insecurity made me to change, when I was in college I got mocked by a lot of guys and sometimes girls, I was not able to defend myself, everytime they passed and mocked me I would just shut up and feel the pain, I became scared to walk in front of any group and knowing in advance that they would mock me because I was very overweight.
Fearing of the unknown, not being able to confront those people is why you are still afraid to go to the gym at time when you know traffic is high, it’s also the same reason I was afraid to do it, the same reason that made me unable to run in the beach where all people were watching me and laughing, damn I remember that days very well, I was so scared to death, every group of people were like nightmare, just the thought of going out alone was disgusting.
And because you don’t like your body image you will not like yourself, it’s so simple, if you don’t like it then no matter what you do and follow what people say ‘ accept yourself ‘, ‘ learn to love yourself ‘, you will not make changes, you are ashamed of your body, you still not comfortable in your own skin, you feel that no girl will like your body, you feel that you deserve to have better one, you feel that you will not be accepted in society by having that body, you think that you are too big. Bro, if you are like that then no matter what you do you will still be afraid of everyone, people mocking you is just a way to confirm your ghosts and your low self-esteem, your self-esteem will never become high if you don’t accept yourself, and if you really want to accept yourself then look at yourself in the mirror and see how you find yourself, is that the body that you are going to live by most of your life?
None of the things I say is complicated, I try to make the process simple to everyone and enough of the bullshit creams they sell and the surgeries that do more harm than good, remember Fat Loss Master mindset is about getting tough to maintain your results for a life time, the whole purpose of the blog is to motivate you to make changes.
So it’s simple, just accept the fact that you don’t like your body, the truth is you are blessed, not with genetics or something but because if you are the one who think too much about losing your body fat and it’s annoying you every time you wear clothes and look at the mirror, every time you see a sexy girl with good looking guy then you are going to make changes, it doesn’t matter when but you will, provided that you feel hurt and overthink about it you will make changes, I was like that and I remember myself very well.
You are blessed and you are going to make changes, unlike the other Fat losers who don’t care!
Continuing our speech, I wanted to address that by caring you will make changes, I know the psychological benefits because I lived every moment of it, the other crowded fat losers don’t care because they accepted themselves a while ago that that will stay like that most of their life, but they are not afraid of it, they are comfortable with their body fat, they lived maybe in a good environment where people didn’t mock them in their childhood and teens, they fought maybe everyone who mocked them and they became confident by doing that, you are different, you have another type of personality and that’s normal, don’t think for a second that I’m proud of this minority because deep down they want to lose body fat, but they are not as ambitious as you and ‘John’. It’s hard to start but it’s rewarding to finish, remember that those minority don’t have problems with anxiety and fear of going out in public because they accepted their body image so their self-esteem is higher, just to clarify the fact so you don’t ask why there are many obese people who are happy themselves, you are doing a great job because you don’t accept to be an average guy, you want to be a Fat Loss Master who mastered his mindset and the whole core of losing weight, so congratulations, forget about them and focus on yourself and what you do, when you do that you will stop caring about what others thing, live the moment and write us your journey, we are eager to hearing from you.
Conclusion
Obviously, social anxiety and exercise anxiety are going to harm your chances with losing weight, while the second is a type of the first, it’s good to understand that not all categories of obese people have this type of problem, if you are like how I was; fearing of others, being afraid to go out alone, exercise in front of everyone, not like your body image then by just taking initiative to make change in your body weight is the only way to fix that, and if you are like the other categories then I would tell to think twice before remaining overweight, you know the physical risks, the beauty of life and maximizing your options, lose weight please, start today as time is sacred, even if you are comfortable with your body then just realize that you will miss many good opportunities in life.
My whole admiration for people who have low self-esteem is that they accepted they have problems and they want to make change, you are not far from the average guy, you have the burning desire to lose weight and change your life, and I’m with you, I hope even the other categories listen and apply my advice, I will make an article for the second category but in another day.
